THE CONSUMER'S RIGHT TO SAFETY OF PRODUCTS

The Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection” establishes that every consumer has the right to ensure that the purchased goods, services, works are: high quality, safe for life, human health and the environment, do not harm property, and meet the requirements of the law , contracts and technical documents.
Every consumer must be sure that he consumes safe products and receives quality services in his daily life!
If your right to safe and quality products, goods and services has been violated, do not hesitate to appeal to public authorities.
You can protect your consumer rights and you should do so if:

You have been sold products without the national mark of conformity and / or without a certificate of conformity or a declaration of conformity.

You bought an expired product, but it was still in circulation.

The seller has changed the service life or expiration date, which was indicated on the label, packaging or accompanying documents.

You have not been provided with documents confirming compliance with the requirements of regulatory and technical documentation.

The product did not indicate the service life (shelf life) of the product (the consequences of work) or part thereof, as well as the necessary actions after this period.

You have not been informed about the mandatory conditions of use of the goods and the possible consequences in case of non-compliance, to put into circulation goods that have expired.
To the attention of business entities in the field of trade and other services!
The legislation establishes penalties for business entities in the field of trade and other services in case of violation of consumer rights:
FINE:
300% of the value of goods / services received for sale,
but not less than UAH 425,000 (25,000 nmdg)
For the manufacture or sale of products that do not meet the requirements of regulations on safety for life, health and property of consumers and the environment.
FINE:
500% of the value of goods / services received for sale,
but not less than UAH 17,000 (100 nmdg)
For the sale of products prohibited by the relevant state body for the manufacture and sale (execution, provision)
FINE:
100% of the value of goods / services received for sale,
but not less than 340 UAH (20 nmdg).
For the sale of dangerous goods (poisons, pesticides, explosives and flammable substances, etc.) without proper warning labeling, information on the rules and conditions of use
FINE:
200% of the value of the balance of the goods,
but not less than 85 UAH (5 nmgd).
For the sale of expired goods,
FINE:
30% of the value received for the sale of goods / services,
but not less than 85 UAH (5 nmgd).
For lack of necessary, accessible, reliable and timely information about the product or seller
